Live Training Sessions
Many helpful training opportunities are available. You can attend in-person training offered by WCLD, the Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence Links to an external site., or the IT Accessibility Team at University Park. Self-Guided Courses
The following courses can be taken as they fit into your schedule:
- ACC 110: Course Accessibility Basics centers on platforms, tools, and processes used in World Campus Learning Design (WCLD) and is required for all WCLD staff.
- OL 2600.01: Accessible Online Course Authoring equips course authors and instructors with information about accessible web practices and course design that they can apply when creating and adding content in Canvas.
- OL 3000.01: Supporting Accommodations for Online Learners focuses on what instructors need to do to support students receiving accommodations.
- OL 3600.01: Universal Design for Learning is a collaboration between the World Campus, the Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence, and campus faculty. It introduces Universal Design for Learning (UDL), an approach to course design and instruction that considers learner variability.
