Video Overview

Inserting a video in a Canvas page may seem as simple as copying and pasting an embed code, but there are several elements to consider such as the iframe size, the transcript, platform-specific settings, and more. This module will provide guidance and best practices in the following areas related to video:

• adding transcripts
• adding styling (border, box, associated text, etc.)
• embed code settings

Please keep in mind that we will most often be discussing videos from commonly used platforms at the University, such as YouTube, Kaltura, and Vimeo, but many of the styles will work with additional video sources.
