Integrate a Calendar
Booking a Zoom Room requires a calendar integration. When a calendar is integrated with a Zoom Room, the room's display, controller and Scheduling Display can show the meeting schedule for the room. At Penn State, conference rooms are assigned as a calendar resource through Microsoft 365. Zoom Rooms can be scheduled by inviting the room's calendar resource to the meeting. This allows users to start and join meetings in the Zoom Room with one touch.

- Set up your personal calendar integration so that your Zoom meetings and webinars on your third-party calendar (i.e., Outlook) are synced to the Zoom desktop client.

- After your personal calendar is integrated with Zoom, Zoom Admin can add the calendar to the Zoom Room. The Zoom Room Admin needs to request to have the calendar integrated. This is typically done when installing the Zoom Room.
Scheduling a Zoom Meeting in a Zoom Room
There are multiple way to schedule a Zoom Meeting in a Zoom Room, including the Outlook plugin, the Zoom desktop client, and the Zoom web portal.
