Grant Closeout

Upon conclusion of the project, the grant will enter the closeout portion of its lifecycle. There are various phases in the closeout process: “Award-Pre-Close”, "Closing-Pending/Department Guaranteed", “Closing-Ended”, "Closing-Research Accounting", and “Closing-Closed.”

After the closeout phase, the grant status will be updated to “Closed-Closed”, meaning all closing activities have been completed.
