Grant Post-Award Lifecycle and Status
Grants have various lifecycles statuses which include several user statuses. The Post-Award Grant lifecycle refers to the processes for a grant after it is awarded by the sponsor and the grant is in the "Active" lifecycle status.
The grant status controls what changes can be made to the grant and the postings or transactions that can be executed. The Grant status is a combination of the Lifecycle status and the User status. There are four Lifecycle statuses and 14 User statuses. To learn more about the statuses and what postings can be made during the statuses, review the following knowledge base articles:
