Animations - This tool animates text or images within your design. After you have text and/or images in your design, click on the "Animations" icon. You will then be presented with a variety of prebuilt animations. Simply click on each one to see what it does in realtime. Note that you're only able to animate text or images.
Apply Brand - By clicking on this button, you will automatically update your design with the Penn State Brand colors, font, and the HHD or department mark within the brand you have access to. Prior to clicking on it, make sure your design has the text and images you'd like in the graphic.
Backgrounds - You can choose an image to replace the background of your graphic.
Colors - Select the color of text or shapes. Adobe also has built in color palettes that you can change with a few clicks. You can also choose to use the Penn State colors once you have access to the Adobe Creative Cloud libraries.
Design - Brand elements as well as alternate designs for your chosen template are available. Simply click on "Design" and then select the various options available.
Design Assets - Various design elements you can add to your graphic.
Download - You can download your graphic in a variety of formats. If you include animations in your graphic, you can download both the animated version (.mp4) as well as the static version (png or jpg).
Icons - Various icons you can add to your design. There are quite a few to choose from, so it recommended to use the search feature to narrow down your options.
Invite / Share - You can share your designs with others. You have the option to allow them to only view the design or edit the design.
Libraries - The Adobe Creative Cloud libraries HHD Communications and Marketing share with you can be found here. Each library contains design templates and assets. You can also create your own libraries to use and/or share with others.
Logos - Penn State marks that are shared with you can be found here.
Photos - Adobe provides thousands of photos to choose from for your design. Simply search for a photo and use the one you like.
My Project - You can update the name of your project. It is recommended to name your project to keep things organized.
Resize - You can automatically resize your design for the medium in question. For example, if you design a landscape graphic for Facebook, you can with a few clicks change the size to an Instagram ready graphic. When using the resize feature, some of the design elements may need to be altered. Review your design before using.
Shared with you... - Any designs share with you. You can view or edit these designs based on the permissions set by the owner.
Templates - Includes all Adobe designed templates as well as those share with you. To find the templates share with you, click on the "templates" icon followed by the 3-dot (•••) icon. In the drop-down menu, select "shared with you"
Text block/Styles - All of the available text options. If you'd like to include basic text, click on the "Add your text" button. Otherwise, select one of the styled text options.
