Tuition Assistance Portals

It was noted earlier that one of your tasks every semester is submitting your approved degree plan through the portal that your branch of service uses. While there are similarities among the portals (like the need for LionPATH and the information in the portal to match exactly), there are also some differences. Here are some things that you may want to take note of as you prepare to submit your TA request. Keep in mind that the following tips aren't all-inclusive and that your education officer is an expert on this and will be your best resource if you run into any issues.

ArmyIgnitED Portal for Army Students

Once you enroll in a course via LionPATH, you can then apply for TA through the ArmyIgnitED Portal. If you change your schedule in LionPATH, you must update the Portal the same day and ensure that the course planner is updated and approved. You'll also need to resolve any ArmyIgnitED account holds prior to TA approval.

Navy College Program (NCP) Portal for Navy, Marine, and Coast Guard Students

Courses must be chosen from the drop-down menu in the NCP Portal Links to an external site. and not typed manually. Your TA form must match LionPath exactly (course name and dates, etc.). Any changes to your student schedule in LionPath must be updated in the NCP Portal as well.

Air Force Portal (AI) for Air Force Students

You'll receive approved TA through the Air Force Portal (AI) but must print a copy and email the TA to the Bursar's Office (information below) for processing.
