Penn State recognizes those who have honorably served or are currently serving in the United States Armed Forces by awarding priority registration.

Priority registration allows veterans, active-duty service members, and reservists to schedule classes ahead of the general student population. Priority registration dates differ by campus location. You can learn the priority registration dates by contacting the World Campus Registrar’s Office. More information about who qualifies for priority registration and how to receive priority registration can be found on the student website Links to an external site..

Active-duty students will need to submit a letter from their command stating dates and characterization of service, and the Statement of Service template Links to an external site. can be used.

Documents should be sent to the Penn State World Campus Military Educational Benefits Office by fax or email. Please include your Penn State ID number and email address on all documents submitted.
