Human Subjects Research (IRB)

The Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) is the IRB office for the University and provides support for all Penn State researchers, including those at the College of Medicine and Penn State Health. All Penn State employees and students conducting activities that meet the definition of human subjects research must submit for Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval before beginning any research activity. The HRPP has numerous resources, Links to an external site. including Zoom webinars, to help researchers get started with their IRB protocol.
