Starfish

Many graduate programs, advisers, and instructors use an advising tool called Starfish. These individuals make up a significant portion of your “ Success Network.” You can view your Success Network when you log into Starfish Links to an external site..

 

When you click the three dots after your connections’ names you will see an option to view their profile; send them an email; or, if they have their calendar set up, even schedule an appointment. 

 

 

If so, you can schedule or change an appointment on this calendar in real time.

 

You may also view your courses and instructor information using the “Courses” menu item.

 

 

You may access video demos of the Starfish student view, including setting up your profile and making an appointment on the Starfish Info website Links to an external site., though you should make sure that your graduate program uses this tool prior to setting this up.
