English for Professional Purposes Intercultural Center (EPPIC)

Are you an international graduate student or scholar? Would you like structured support for your advanced academic writing, speaking, teaching, or presentation skills in English? If so, the English for Professional Purposes Intercultural Center (EPPIC) is here to serve you! EPPIC is a university-wide research and academic service center that specializes in working with multilingual graduate students and scholars on a range of academic genres. EPPIC's services include workshops on academic writing and speaking, individual consultations, speaking groups, and personalized language advising.  

EPPIC's services are based in the internationally-recognized research and teaching expertise of the Department of Applied Linguistics, making EPPIC a unique Penn State resource. The center also promotes engaged intercultural communication throughout the university community through workshops on topics such as Global English, pronouncing international student names, engaging multilingual perspectives in the classroom, and more, available by request.
