Semester at a Glance |
As mentioned in the Using the Course Syllabus module, using a Semester at a Glance calendar can help you understand how to manage your days in a less time-constricted format. Whereas other planners may be more detailed in going by hours, this calendar view allows you to plan out assignments by due dates and is an overview format. You can use this to loosely plan when to work on longer assignments based on due dates, and to have a general reminder of when assignments need to be handed in. This would be beneficial for you if detailed agendas do not work for you, but you still desire a structured view of assignment dates for courses. Suggestion: At the beginning of the semester, use your syllabi to fill in the calendar. Color-code it by course, so you know what assignments are for which class. Include both graded assignments and readings, so you are always prepared. |

Monday-Sunday Planner This format allows you to plan out daily activities or assignments that need to be done. You can list goals for the week, as well as a self-care plan, and any additional notes you may have. This schedule would work well to recreate on a weekly basis to update tasks that you need to complete that specific week. Since it works in more of an overview format, it is used to keep track of things such as due dates and activities rather than detailed scheduling. |
