Calendaring Activity
- Due No Due Date
- Points 2
- Submitting a file upload
This activity requires you to download a worksheet.
Once you've done this, fill each day with the obligations that you're typically responsible for. Make sure that you don’t skip anything! If you need to grocery shop once a week for an hour—put that in there. Take long walks with the dog? Put it in there! Can’t bear to miss a certain television show every week? You guessed it—put it in there!
Now that the calendar has your obligations listed, where do your courses fit? Remember that, on average, each of your courses is going to require 9–12 hours of your time per week. This time doesn't need to be found all in one stretch, in fact it's probably better to spread your work out across the week, but for each course you plan to take you'll need to find this time somewhere.
This activity isn't here to give you something to worry about—in fact, just the opposite. This activity, in conjunction with a good conversation with your adviser, can help you to make good choices about scheduling your first courses and set you up for success as you start your journey here at World Campus.
Now that you've reviewed your schedule, upload the file that you've created (please be sure to rename the file in the following format: last name, first name, calendar). What times did you find are the most free for you to use for your studies?
