Embedded Analytics (EA) Reporting

(PSU resource) to access an Embedded Analytics report. Entering selection criteria into the report header filters narrows the results.

Reporting tool traits do not vary when they are being utilized in the different financial ledgers. The functionality of a report is always the same no matter what ledger the reporting task is related to.

Different filters or different dimensions may appear in a report, based on the report’s financial ledger, but the functionality of the report remains the same. For example, a Funds Management report will include a “Commitment Item” filter whereas a Grants Management report includes a “Sponsored Class” filter option. However, the filters will work the same way.

Report data can be viewed in either an Embedded Analytics reporting tool or in a Business Objects (BOBJ) reporting tool.
