The Fox Graduate School at Penn State, which is housed in Kern Building, provides administrative and student support services for our graduate student population. From entry into your graduate program, and through to attaining your degree, the Fox Graduate School looks forward to assisting you in your educational journey.

Office of Graduate Enrollment Services (GES):

GES Links to an external site. is your go-to place for anything administrative that is not handled by your graduate program. They handle much of the paperwork involved in graduate education from applications to degree conferral. 

Office of Graduate Educational Equity Programs (OGEEP):

OGEEP Links to an external site. is the home for graduate students at the University from underrepresented groups and leads the Graduate School’s efforts to foster diversity and provide a welcoming environment for all students. OGEEP sponsors events, professional development opportunities, and mentoring programs.

Office of Graduate Fellowships and Awards Administration (OGFAA):

OGFAA manages all graduate fellowship, scholarships and awards. Office of Graduate Student Affairs:

The Office of Graduate Student Affairs Links to an external site. with the Fox Graduate School serves as a resource for all graduate students and graduate programs at the University supporting many aspects of graduate student life. We provide programming and resources to support student well-being, career development, and professional development. We also assist students, faculty, and graduate programs in navigating issues that arise for students during their graduate careers.

Student life:

Penn State has a multitude of services, resources, and other opportunities to support all aspects of your life as a Penn State student. Here you can connect to information about anything from housing to personal well-being to campus services as well as how to get involved in campus and community activities.

Events:

The Fox Graduate School hosts several events for graduate students including the Fall Career Exploration Workshop and Networking events in collaboration with the Fox Graduate School Alumni Society, Grant Writing Workshops, and the annual Spring Graduate Research Exhibition, which gives graduate students the opportunity to showcase their research to the entire Penn State and local community.

Policies:

The Fox Graduate School administers policies that apply to all graduate students at the University. Graduate students should be aware of two key levels of requirements. Individual graduate programs have specific requirements for students in their program. These requirements are described in the program handbook for the year you enter the program.
