Create a Top Hat Course

This module will show you how to create a Top Hat course, manage your account settings, and add instructional support staff to your course.

Create a Course

You will need to create your Top Hat course before you link it to your Canvas course. It is best practice to name your Top Hat course with the same name as your Canvas course. If you are teaching multiple sections, also include the section number when creating your Top Hat course. The following link walks you through the course creation process:
