Share or Assign Content
Once you have content in your Top Hat course, you are ready to share it with your students.
Assigning Content
Students will only have access to your content if you assign it to them. See the following article for information on assigning content to your students:

NOTE: Content can be shared as Homework (graded) or as Review (not graded).
Presenting Slides
In the case of slides, you can present this content to your students during class in two different ways: by using the “Present” button in the Top Hat web application, or by using the downloadable Presentation Tool in the desktop application.

Penn State Practical Use
Professor Karen seamlessly blends her PowerPoint slides with Top Hat to make her lectures more engaging. She also assigns these presentations within Top Hat as review material after class, giving students the flexibility to revisit and reinforce lecture content on their own time, enhancing their learning experience outside the classroom.
