Everyone at Penn State welcomes you to Centre County, Pennsylvania - home of Penn State's University Park campus. From state parks and caverns to historic towns and a bustling foodie culture, there is so much that makes Centre County known as "Happy Valley." The culture of Happy Valley is largely dominated by Penn State University with many regional activities occurring around student schedules, like football Saturdays, Homecoming, and graduation. During summer session, you will notice that the town populations are significantly reduced.
