Accuracy Assessment for Multiple Classifications: Custom Python Script Tool Demo

Conducting accuracy assessments for multiple classifications in the ESRI ArcGIS platform is painful. Traditional accuracy assessment workflows would require additional random point layers and require copious amounts of ground truthing because the Compute Confusion Matrix tool is designed to only handle one field of values at a time. Time could be saved by using the same points for more than one field, which would be the result of intersecting these values another layer. The additional benefit is that the remaining accuracy assessment steps can be automated as well, resulting in error matrices, other statistics, or the extraction of misclassified points. This video demonstrates a custom Python tool created to make accuracy assessment for multiple classifications more efficient.
