Chapter 14:

I am such an idiot. They tagged me with a tracer while I was in the barn. After I flew away, they tracked my flight path and found my home. All of my computers and paperwork are gone. Also, they stole all of my mom’s coffee. I don’t think that has a reason or anything, except to prove they are totally, 100% evil and heartless. Anyway, they left a note. It read: “Same time, same place, 10/31.” I know that I should tell my boss about it, but I think I can take them on with my armor and other gadgets.  I developed a way to use the armor as a weapon, too. The electric source powering it is self-sustaining. It can now shoot beams of some sort at them. I don’t know what the beams are made of, but they act like concussive blasts. They shoot from my hands and face if I want them to.

Chapter 15:

I just found out that they took Harry, the princess’s older brother, too.  They left her a note. “10/31. Tell him to come alone.” I have no choice, now.

Chapter 16:

I show up and no one is there. My fly-by surveillance didn’t pick anything up, either. I don’t know where they are hiding, but my nerves are on edge. Around 8:00, I am ready to leave the creepy barn. But, I know that I need to take down SPIDER. They have caused too many problems and too much heartache to let them continue functioning in the shadows.

Chapter 17:

At 10:00, they show up. There are about 50 people all wearing my ankle jets. I quickly realize that I won’t be able to outrun them. They copied my designs. We either fight to a standstill or…Let’s hear what they have to say. The person who seems to be the leader steps forward and asks me my name. I keep staring him down. “Fine. Cuff him.” Before I realize what he meant, my hands are cuffed behind me. They enhanced my jets to supplement all of their muscle speeds, not just enable them to fly.

Chapter 18:

At this point, I really have no choices. They started jamming my satellite uplink so I can’t communicate with my computer or anyone else if I want to. They outnumber me and I am alone, They don’t know about my concussive blasts, though! I hope…

Chapter 19:

I seem to be in some sort of holding cell. There is an energy barrier around me and my armor still seems to be intact. The cuffs are gone. They stopped jamming my computer, and my contact lens tells me that I’m in the middle of Boston. This is rather convenient. So nice of them to bring me back to within 30 miles of home!

Chapter 20:

The head of SPIDER walks into the room. I know it’s him from the grainy surveillance footage the BIT has on him. He chuckles and tells me that I’m headed to interrogation. I laughed. It felt good to know that I would have a chance to escape.

When they power down my cell, I release the gas pellets I was holding inside my armor and fire concussive blasts at all of the computers in the room that clearly serves as their HQ. With unconscious bodies all around me and all the computers trashed, I called the BIT and that was the end of SPIDER.

I’ll let you know what happened after that in a couple of years. For now, we won.
